I run The Paid Media Company — a small, focused paid media business built around doing things properly. I've spent the last 10+ years working in PPC and paid media, mostly in agency environments, working across ecommerce and lead gen accounts, managing sizeable budgets, and leading PPC teams.
Most recently I was Head of PPC at Velstar, a Shopify Platinum Partner agency, where I also experienced an agency acquisition first-hand when Yatter — the PPC agency I was Head of PPC at before — was acquired by Velstar in late 2024. That taught me a lot about how things work behind the scenes, both the good and the challenging.
Before that, I built my career at Tag Digital and Dog Digital, working across a real mix of clients and industries. Between all of it, I've seen what works, what doesn't, and where things tend to go off track.
That's a big part of why I started my own thing. The focus is simple: keep paid media clear, accountable, and built on strong fundamentals. No overcomplication, no hiding behind jargon — just solid strategy, good structure, and ongoing optimisation that actually moves the needle.
